This was a great book to read! Especially since I am in my first ‘real’ job.
There were several things that I took from the book:
1. The small things matter – small touches on presentations, hand written thank you notes for different occassions
2. Always having your game face on regardless of the sitation you are presented with
3. Turning grunt work is an opportunity to shine and turn it into something great
Obviously, there were several things that were pretty common sense like getting to work early, watching the emails you write and watching what you write on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
I recommend this read if you are just starting out at your first job. It was still great to read having worked at my first real job for the last two years and to brush up on some of the things we tend to forget because of our busy schedules.
